Commissioned Portraits in Plaster

Although not as durable as bronze, plaster portraits have a unique color and texture as they reflect the light so beautifully.

Considerably lighter than bronze, plaster portraits are quite strong and durable, if well taken care of.

The portrait plaster cast is hollow and is reinforced with burlap during the casting process. The plaster work is completely dried and sealed with a brown sculpture wax which slightly colors the plaster portrait giving it a soft, antique look.
